In an afternoon, the images of a world appear but quickly molder, shoveled into memory, most often cleanly forgotten, just snapshots of minutes, of moments, of footprints in the snow.
‘March’, the new album by Flower Triangle (aka Tomoyasu Takanishi), radiates with the instantaneous glint of an after-rain sheen, captured and chosen for all these times. There’s elegance preserved and framed inside, all given careful attention, and intelligent demand. It’s a natural tremor, and the morning still smells of the fresh rainfall.
As an accomplished photographer and musician, Flower Triangle’s ‘March’ is an innovative and incredible work of magical spans, snapshots of melody, and true humanity.
A beautiful album, created by an artist I respect, and whom I’m grateful to call a friend.
